Welcome!

We gather on line on Monday evenings, to vocalize and socialize.

We plan to resume in-person rehearsals in September. Join us!

The A Cappella Singers are a choral group for treble voices in Boston Metrowest. We formed in 1963 and celebrate over 50 years performing as a group. We perform a diverse selection of music, including Jazz, Contemporary and Classical, Sacred and Secular, both accompanied and a cappella.

Interested in joining? Adult treble voices are welcome: auditions are relaxed, to place your voice and to confirm that you can read music. Our open rehearsals are September 13, 20 and 27.

For more information, please contact us at info@theacappellasingers.org or call or text (774) 231-1963

Rehearsals: Monday evenings, 7 – 9 pm,  in-person at Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church, 106 Walnut Street, Natick, Massachusetts (map). (Our concerts are at Fisk Church.) We do not rehearse in the summer.

How did we keep the music alive during the pandemic? We learned a few pieces each month and put them in the vault for a future concert. We produced a virtual choir in December 2020: each person recorded individually and the director mixed the recordings to produce the virtual choir. We conducted a few “parking lot” rehearsals in April 2021, using low power FM technology.

Singing as a virtual chorus has its benefits.  Here we perform “O Come, All Ye Faithful” accompanied by George Sargeant on the Old South Church organ, the second largest pipe organ in Boston, Massachusetts. We each recorded ourselves, then George put the the recordings together. Thank you, George.

Note: our venue for in-person rehearsals and concerts is Fisk Memorial United Methodist Church, 106 Walnut Street, Natick, Massachusetts (map).

Our mailing address is The A Cappella Singers, P.O. Box 6251 Natick, MA 01760-6251.
